Technical Marketing Specialist
Full-time, contract, hybrid working and freelance all considered.
We’re looking for an individual with an aptitude for technical marketing, helping manage email campaigns and websites, with some experience of web coding and CRM dynamic content, including basic knowledge of SQL and/or Ampscript. Experience in a marketing not just a coding environment is essential.
Key competencies
- An aptitude for working with technical platforms and code
- Some experience working with HTML, SQL, Ampscript. A good understanding of 2 out of the 3 scripting languages is desired
- Experience working in a digital marketing environment and working with other like-minded digital/technical marketing individuals
- We are looking for a digital all-rounder, an individual who is proficient in working with several different platforms, such as CRM, CMS, Email, DAM, social media, analytics, etc.
- Most challenging part of the role will be to manage multiple projects at the same time, along with identifying and implementing new solutions to improve operational efficiencies.
- The role will also involve supporting other team members to ensure objectives are met and to meet project deadlines.
- Flexibility is key when working on client projects as they can be a mix of small to large tasks involving technical and/or content requirements.
- The ability to work a problem and tackle using different methods to resolve.
- Understanding of adding content to digital platforms and ensure content is search engine friendly factoring in various SEO practices as part of the process
- Any other technical abilities such as analytics, GTM, tagging, etc will be very welcome.
Experience
- Email campaign, CRM and/or website management essential.
- HTML, SQL and or Ampscript. A good understanding of 2 out of the 3 scripting languages is desired.
- Working in a marketing team/environment.
- An understanding of the marketing function and how the key competencies above fit in.
- Juggling workload and being able to work under pressure.
- A good work ethic and takes ownership of projects to see through to completion and to sometimes tight deadlines.
